Approximate Measurements: 42 3/8 Tall X 3 3/8 Square. Note: These measurements are approximate, as its hard to get the exact measurements on pieces that have depth in different areas through out the piece. This piece is very heavy, and quite old. It has that shabby chic, old weathered, chippy, worn charm to it. It was a fence post at one time, so its been outdoors in weathered condition most of its life. It has cracks in the wood, and paint chipping through-out the piece. There was a large hole on her left-hand side where the original porch railing must have gone through on the top square section below her head. There are also smaller holes on the opposite side as well. I filled these holes in with spackling putty. I had intended on painting it, but never got around to it. Im not sure who the original artist was that painted her face, but some of the paint on her face has chipped away over the years as well. I added the amber rhinestone crown to her head. The crown has been hot glued on. This is a wonderful, fun, shabby chic piece for any d├ęcor. Item is located in Northern, California. Comes from a smoke-free, kid-free, pet-free home. Thanks for checking out my stuff! I provide numerous photographs, as well as detailed and accurate descriptions of each piece that I list. I will be happy to provide you with additional information or photos in the event that I have missed something. Many of my pieces are old and have wear and tear commensurate with their age and use. Like most vintage and antique pieces, they develop individual characteristics from wear and tear over time. Crazing (spider web crackling in the glaze on top of porcelain/ceramic pieces) and utensil marks are commonly found on vintage, and antique pieces, of ceramic, porcelain & china. Additionally, factory production marks and flaws are not uncommon on vintage, and antique pieces of glass, depression glass, ceramics, porcelain, plastics, metals, etc. Typically, you will see pockmarks, air bubbles, uneven or rough surfaces, excess paint, excess clay, and other deformities, as a result of mass production in older factories. In fact, in some cases, these production marks assist appraisers, and collectors with verifying the authenticity of these older pieces. Age related wear and tear, and factory marks/flaws do not diminish the overall beauty of vintage and antique collectibles, they can actually enhance the personality of these pieces by giving them unique individual characteristics. If there is obvious damage such as cracks, breaks, dents, fleabites, missing pieces, or repairs. I will disclose this information in my item description. I strive very hard to be accurate and to be sure that the item you receive is what you expected. Cleaning antiques and vintage pieces can be quite tricky, because of this I do not attempt to clean any of the items that I sell. I will leave that to the new owner. Its best to consult a professional before attempting to clean older pieces. I learned this the hard way! I also do not sell items that have come from a smoking environment. Ive noticed over the course of the year (2019), that many states have jumped on board, so they can increase their state revenues. Most likely as time goes on, we will see more and more states jump on board. This is an automated process that is done behind the scenes.
